Luckily for us down here on Earth, NASA astronaut and flight engineer Jack Fischer has a keen eye for amazing other-worldly sights and an interesting sense of humor.
Fischer, aboard the International Space Station, shared a time lapse video and photos from a stunning glowing green aurora from 250 miles up. His photos and video were made on June 26 of this year, NASA reports in a news release.
The astronaut shared the video with an interesting tweet in saying, "People have asked me what a 'burrito of awesomeness smothered in awesome sauce' is... Well folks, it looks like this...awesome sauce is green."

One of my favorite things to do in my free time is watch the Aurora--it's almost alive, as it slathers up the sky in awesome sauce[?] http://pic.twitter.com/GtgAxNUzCU

Fischer, along with veteran astronaut Peggy Whitson, made the 200th spacewalk at the International Space Station back in May of this year. The two astronauts also had some fun on the ISS over the Fourth of July and shared the fun in trying to take a patriotic photo in zero gravity.
